LL - TSM: Email unsubscribe requests

Responding to Unsubscribe requests - 

The take me off of your list or remove me from your email system type messages are typically very simple cases to respond to.

FYI: all of the email addresses in our mailing lists are opt-in, so they would have had to give permission to give us their email address.

In most cases, these requests are coming from people who haven't made a purchase and simply want to stop receiving promotional emails.

1. In either scenario, you will add them to the Do Not Email list in Maropost, and follow the unsubscribe link for Kajabi in the helpscout ticket

If they are a member, you’ll want to reply and let them know that they’ve been removed from receiving future emails and reassured that we’ll be here to help if they need any account related assistance.

If they are not a member, still add them to the Do Not Email list. 

2. Respond to the customer and let them know they've been unsubscribed and that it may take several days for all emails to completely stop.
