LL - How to merge memberships

When someone buys programs using more than one email address, we might get a request to merge those accounts. We want to make sure we know who they are and ask which email username they want to use going forward.

  1. Have two Sticky tabs open on the Orders screen. Paste one email address in one, and the other in your other tab so you can compare.
  2. If they have an active subscription or subs, cancel those.
  3. Add the email they no longer want to use to the do not email list.
  4. Delete the account they no longer want to use in MemberMouse (TSM Academy)
  5. Merge the billing history. Copy the email address that he wants to keep, and then click on the Name associated with the account he wants to close. This will bring you to the Customers area of Sticky.
  6. Click on the arrow next to Actions, and click Edit Customer Info. Change the email address to the one he wants to keep by pasting, and hit save.
  7. Go back to the Orders screen and re-paste his email address to ensure you can find all orders for that customer.
  8. In Maropost, add them to the Customers of email lists that are missing because they were associated with the old account.
  9. In MemberMouse (TSM Academy) grant access to the programs they are missing because they were associated with the old account.
  10. Reply letting him know that you have completed their request, where to log in, a reminder of their username, if you cancelled a subscription, and Close with your reply.
