LL - PayPal Purchase Refunds

we now offer PayPal as a method of payment for Radiant Me, SCS and DML


When someone uses PayPal as their method of payment at checkout, their order will appear in Sticky.io as if they used their debit or credit card, which will trigger all necessary back-end work such as email lists, preparing for shipment, and any login account creation or updates.


If an order results in a refund request, first, identify that this was a PayPal purchase by opening the order, and scrolling down to the bottom to read the notes.

PayPal orders will say — "By sticky.io - Offline payment was received."




Next, assign it to Team Refunds in an Active status. Apply the PayPal tag.


The refund team will:

  1. Mark this order as refunded in Sticky.io by selecting refund in that order. This will not return the funds to them, but will apply the refund logo, and send a refund confirmation from SI.
  2. Locate the order in PayPal's website, and refund it from there. This will trigger the funds going back to the account/card used.
  3. The refund team will confirm the refund in the ticket notes and close.
