LL - How to edit bundle box or kit type orders

We have several "items" that contain multiple products. 

For example, the beauty box, immunity kit, and beauty supersaver package are all combinations of individual products. It is "one" product but contains multiple skus. 

**We highly suggest that you do not modify or edit products containing multiple skus (box/bundle/kit/supersaver) because editing them correctly can be difficult and cause confusion for the customer which often results in a chargeback or poor csat rating. 

Should you need to edit one of our combo packs anyway - there are now specific instructions on how to do this.

**FYI - we no longer process modified bundle orders in sticky OR ask the fulfillment coordinators to swap or remove products in shipstation for modified bundles, so please read these instructions carefully. 

What should you do if a customer wants to modify bundle/kit/box type order?

  • Do not process the order in sticky then ask for it to be edited in ShipStation
  • Create a custom order in Shopify for the customer
  • Add the individual products at the desired quantity that they want to receive
  • Discount the new order to match the correct price they would have paid in sticky for the bundle they want
  • Collect their payment information and process the order. (you can also send an invoice if they aren't on the line.)

NOTE ABOUT GHOST ORDERS: 

If the order was already processed in sticky (payment was collected in sticky) the ideal way to handle this would be to void/refund the sticky order and place a new one in Shopify. However, if the customer doesn't want their payment card to be run again you will need to cancel the shipment for the sticky order. Then build the order correctly in Shopify and discount it by 100% so that is has a 0.00 balance before you mark it as paid. This order with the correct SKU's should be allowed to pass through to ShipStation so that no modifications need to be made in SS. 

All notes should contain corresponding order id's.
