LL - Postal Return Shipping Notifications

Below are return notices from USPS and UPS.

This is occasionally how the customer’s return tracking information arrives to us. (Rather than emailing us on their own, the postal service sends this notice to us when the customer drops off their return).

You should use the information included to locate the correct customer, then use the “change customer” feature to change the ticket to the customer account. The allows the return receipt to become part of the customer record.

Then you should use this ticket to reply back to the customer in regards to their refund.

If you read the notice you’ll find the necessary information about the return to locate the customer:

The USPS notice contains more complete information.

“Shipped From” includes the customer name, and address. “Shipped to” Contains our Brand return address. The Label Number: is their return tracking number.

And sometimes there’s a NOTE TO: that includes instructions or an RMA.

Example ticket: # 790002

The UPS notice will usually include an only an RMA and/or order id numbers. (See bottom image)
