LL - How to send a text message from dialpad

go to dialpad and click the message box instead of the phone.  

In the NEW MESSAGE FROM drop down, (select the outbound line of the health brand you are sending a message from).  For example:  SCS Outbound or DML Outbound 

TO: = the customer phone number. 

when you enter their phone number hit enter and write your text at the bottom of the page and hit enter again.

(NOTE: SMS cannot be sent from the main toll free number, so if you are sending an SMS to a health brand customer always use the outbound line of the correct brand to send your text). 

*make sure to notate that you sent a text message! 

Also make sure to add the customer information into DialPad contact card and add all phone numbers to their helpscout contact info too. 

We should always be able to look at the text list in DP and find the customer easily in HelpScout.
