LL - How to respond to medical questions

If a customer seems like they want to set an appt due to a medical concern there are saved replies for each Dr. with the contact page from their medical practice website that you can give. However,  if they are sending an email request/service issue addressed to the Dr our team handles those - you can say something like, “I will pass this on to Dr. xxxx” or  “Dr. xxx asked me to let you know“

Examples:

1 Question example: Hey Dr. Sisskind, I have this (issue) and what do you think I should do, do you agree with this kind of medical treatment, should I get an xray or test etc...

ANSWER:

Even though Dr. Sisskind is a doctor, he is not your personal doctor, and there may be details about your particular health condition that only your doctor would know. For this reason, we are unable to give medical advice. I realize this is frustrating, and again I apologize. I hope you understand that we really can’t give  specific advice on this matter. If you do not have a personal doctor, you can find a functional medicine practitioner here: https://www.ifm.org/find-a-practitioner/

Note: Asking about safety issues that we know about is different - ie; can i take fish oil with blood thinners or the ampalive safety warning etc. -- in these cases it's ok to tell the customer known safety precautions we have posted.

2 Question example:

Hi Dr Sisskind! I really love this product and all it's doing for me!

Answer:

Hi Customer,

Dr. Sisskind asked me to get back with you and thank you for your wonderful testimony! We are so pleased to hear about your results!

3 Question example:

Hello, I need to speak with the Dr.

Answer:

Hi Customer! You can contact Dr. Rosenberg through his contact form on his website (here).
