LL - What do to when a customer finds a typo or mistake in marketing material or website

Occasionally, a valued customer will contact us with their observations about our website, emails or other marketing material - often it's a typo or other goof! Oops :-) 

Here's a sample ticket: 474192

Customer Email: 


Greetings, Dr Rosenberg and Team !Your website was last copyrighted in 2019, seemingly indicating inadequate attention by marketing and legal advisors.Your bio fails to capitalize the words "army" and "major", indicating it was written by someone who did not serve in the military.

Yes, I would be happy to receive a free container of each product in consideration for my observations, which should be carefully monitored and updated in order to establish and maintain confidence and attention to detail as would be expected for a medical products. Please send my free items to

9300 SW 94th Loop, Ocala FL 34481.

I live in "On Top Of The World", a nationally prominent 55+ community of 5,000 active adults near "The Villages". Residents here share information regarding the pros and cons of all medical and other products and service providers.

Your Next Steps: 
1. Do your best to verify the typo or mistake. If you are unable to, let your team leader know. 
2.  Add the customer suggestion to the CHO spreadsheet > customer feedback tab. A manager views these and will feed them over to the right people on our team to fix the issue. 
3. Reply to the customer with a free bottle. See response below. 
4. Note the ticket with the customer address and reason for the free bottle, along with the free item details and assign to the billing agent.
